Death Valley

Imagine the name:  Death Valley.  What comes to your mind's eye?  When we drove through this expanse of land, I was quite impressed by the subtle beauty of the land.  The hills are dotted with the barest touch of greenery--how do plants survive in this harsh environment?  We were at sea level, then below sea level, and we proceeded to climb thousands of feet above sea level, all in a matter of a few hours.

Enjoy seeing what we saw on another sunny, warm day (it was only in the 90's that day)

Death Valley was an experience that we appreciated seeing and one that will not be easily forgotten.
