Another road trip

We are out the door and in our vehicle, ready to explore more in the perfect month of April.  It is not too hot nor too cold for a road trip.  The luggage is packed, the cooler is ready, and our hats and jackets are in the backseat.

We managed to get through the Border crossing in 9 minutes.  The traffic all day has been very light.  We arrived in Ellensburg and spotted the Red Horse Diner, unique with its Mobil ornaments.  We enjoyed our lunch there and we thought the memorabilia on display was very interesting.  We  also enjoyed the small trains on display.

We made our first night's stop in Pendleton and enjoyed the Best Western room for its fluffy towels and spacious surroundings.  Unfortunately  the spa and swimming pool were still closed for the season.  Our room looked top-notch, no wallpaper tears  or bumps.

  1. Enjoy your trip! It sure is nice to get away before the summer crowds. Look forward to hearing about your adventures on the road.
