First Snowfall of the Year

Yes, here it is, only November and already the snow has found us!  A strange weather front passed by our area and decided that we needed to wake up to that 'white stuff' that many of us dread.  Thank goodness we have our snowtires on already!
Check this out for the snow:  Doesn't it look beautiful, especially with the cloud formations in the sky?

We received about 2 inches overnight and our garden plants look like cotton balls are resting on them.

This is our gorgeous pansy plant but now it is semi-covered with ice crystals.

I know it is wishful thinking but it would be just wonderful if all the snow would land on the many ski hills so that the skiers, snowboarders, and snowshoers could enjoy it while we drive on clear roads!
