Showing you the additional leg room that we enjoyed:
We arrived at Heathrow Airport, Terminal 5 and proceeded to locate the Tube Station at the Airport. We purchased the Oyster Card and loaded it up (easy process). The Tube is very efficient and we were at Green Park Station within 20 minutes or so. We found that it was spacious enough for our 29" suitcase and our carry-on. After Green Park, we made our way to catch the next train to Victoria Station where we got off at Vauxhall Station. We then made our way to our B&B, an easy 5--7 minutes level walk.
Here is our home for the next few days, 69The Grove B&B, rated #1 with TripAdvisor:
Kanley and David are the proprietors of this B&B. As is very typical of British hotels and B&B's, the rooms are not noted for being large. Our room #6 had a huge bed, closet, fireplace, and window. We had a separate bathroom for our use.
Each morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast prepared by Kanley and his assistant, Giovanni. We had toast, eggs, bacon, mushrooms, sausages, and a wonderful bowl of cut-up fresh fruit that tasted delicious mixed with the Greek yogourt. The fun part of staying at a B&B is meeting the other guests. When we were there, we met people from Italy, Japan, Israel, and the USA.

From our window, we could peer down at the outdoor eating area:
We would heartily recommend staying with Kanley if you are visiting London in the near future, perhaps for the 2012 Olympics?
