We had the most marvellous 'field trip' today. We started by heading off to a Chinese restaurant for dim sum but the restaurant was full, so we decided to head East. Today was a gorgeous fall day as the sun shone and the multi-coloured leaves impressed us with their different shades of yellow and some deep reds. We decided that we should go visit the local salmon spawning grounds but we were surprised by the number of cars, vans, and buses all headed to the same Creek. We turned around after seeing the lineup of cars and headed down to Sasquatch Inn where there were many bikers enjoying their brew. We liked our lunch and just the opportunity to relax and converse. One topic centered on the many car licence plates that were hung...not only Canadian ones but ones from such places as the Bahamas, Curacao, and two from Australia.
We then made our way to a gorgeous local Lake where we walked around with many others, all enjoying the wonderfully warmish day....sunshine and a comfortable temperature...what more could we ask for?
A thoroughly relaxing and wondrous day was enjoyed by all!
